Betty Jean Marshall
Betty was a certified nurse’s assistant and previously worked at Cheboygan Healthcare and Bortz of Petoskey. She also worked as a housekeeper and at UniPro of Vanderbilt. Betty attended church at the Onaway Assembly of God and enjoyed baking cookies to have with coffee for Sunday Service. In fact, Betty was a very good cook and baker and if you stopped by her house she would insist you stay for dinner. She also enjoyed going to Bingo, playing games on the computer, solving puzzles, and dancing. Her favorite pastime though was the time she spent with her family. She loved every minute she had with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are Betty’s husband of 33 years, Mike Marshall of Onaway; daughter, Jessie (Jeremiah) McQuaid of Millersburg; sons, Henry (Candy) of Millersburg and Mike of Onaway; seven grandchildren, Nathanial, September, Heather, Elizabeth, Becky, Austin, and Jeremiah “Bullfrog”; brothers, Len (Cindy) Lemorie of Kansas, Garland Lemorie of Cheboygan, Rick (Dorothy) Lemorie of Cheboygan, and Bobby (Diane) Lemorie of Ferndale; sisters, Dawn (Bob) Neusius of Ferndale, Dee Pimer of Gaines, and Cathy (Ollie) Schoolcraft of Afton; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
