Elijah Arthur Wilkes
January 8, 2012 in Grand Rapids at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Elijah was born in Traverse City on December 6, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Shauna Wilkes, formerly of Williamsburg; big sisters, Autumn, Gabby, Lily, and Grace; grandmothers, Cynthia Howard and Betty Page; grandfathers, Kevin Wilkes and Sean McFadden; great grandparents, Jerry and JoBeth McFadden; great grandmother, Arlene Yack; and great, great grandmother, Sophia Yack. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church on Saturday January 14, 2011. Pastor Scott Distler will officiate. The family has asked that Elijah be remembered through memorial contributions to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
