Jerry K. Cryderman
Making his career in road construction, Jerry started out working as a surveyor for the State of Michigan Department of Transportation. He eventually went into business for himself, managing and contracting highway projects for his own company, Alpena Paving. Jerry retired in 1995.
Jerry served on the Board of Education for Onaway Area Schools for 16 years, was a past president of the Associated Builders and Contractors, and was a long-time member of the Black Lake Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending his winters in Cedar Bluff, Alabama.
Surviving are Jerry’s loving wife of 53 years, Helen Cryderman of Onaway; son, Gregory Ward (Carol) Cryderman of Rockford, Michigan; daughter, Jeri-Kaye (Don) Mutchler of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Alyson and Karman Cryderman of Rockford, MI and Alexis and Kassidy Mutchler of Indianapolis, IN. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at the Chagnon Funeral Home on Sunday June 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Cards may be sent to Helen at her Alabama address - 622 County Road 662, Cedar Bluff, AL 35959.
