Cheryl Ann Dean, age 49 of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Onaway, died March 30, 2006 at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Cheryl was born in Detroit on November 20, 1956 to John and Elizabeth (Fellars) Dennis. On March 15, 1975 she was married to the late William Dean in Onaway. Cheryl was the former owner/operator of Kelly's Restaurant in Onaway and was also a housekeeper for the UAW Family Education Center in Onaway. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cheryl will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sarah Dean and Elizabeth Lusk both of Petoskey; son, Bill Dean of Petoskey; grandchildren, Sumer, Sky, Orien, River, and Iziah Dean all of Petoskey; father, John Dennis of Onaway; and fiance, Glenn Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida. She will also be missed by her sisters, Susan Frain of Manistee; Lesia Farner of Petoskey; Deborah Dennis of New Port; Penny Stankewitz of Cheboygan and Kelly Darga of Millersburg; and brothers, David Dennis of Onaway; Ernie Dennis of Montana and John Dennis of Columbiaville. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, William Dean (1993); and mother, Libby Dennis (1998). |
