Genevieve Caroline Faircloth, age 80, formerly of Clinton Township, Michigan died October 22, 2006 at her home on Black Lake, Michigan. Genevieve was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 29, 1926 to Walter and Caroline (Schroeder) Osborne. On September 12, 1953 she was married to Nolan V. Faircloth in Detroit. In 1987, Genevieve and Nolan retired to Black Lake. Genevieve enjoyed being at the lake, doing crossword and word search puzzles, cooking and baking. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Nolan, of Black Lake; son, Daryl Faircloth of Algonac; and daughters, Darlene O'Connor of St. Clair Shores, Denise (Kenneth) Minuth of Clinton Township, and Diane Faircloth of Tucson, Arizona. She is also survived by her sister, Edna (Ronald) Greenfelder of Evart, Michigan; 6 grandchildren, Danielle, Deanna, David, Daniel, Justin, and Nicole; and a great grandson, Anthony. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Milton and Walter Osborne. |
