Glenn Allen Gundy Jr, age 60 of Rainy Lake, formerly of Temperance, died August 18, 2006 at his home. Glenn was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on August 23, 1945 to Glenn and Margaret (Young) Gundy. On August 27, 1966 he was married to Susan Kneeshaw at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Toledo, Ohio. Glenn retired in 1996 from the Local 8 in Toledo, Ohio where he worked as a journeyman electrician. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Glenn and his wife permanently moved to Rainy Lake in 2001, but had been visiting and vacationing in the Onaway and Black Lake areas for 40 years. Glenn will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Susan of Rainy Lake; daughter, Victoria (Bryan) Kruzynski of Millersburg; son, Eric Gundy of Rainy Lake; and his faithful friend and dog, Paws. He will also be missed by his twin sister, Ruth (Ken) Weber of Swanton, Ohio; and sisters, Laura (Zane) Billings of Livonia and Myra (Wendell) Philpott of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Margaret Gundy. |
