Lloyd Noble Hughes, age 79 of Millersburg, died May 1, 2006 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Lloyd was born in Imlay City on March 2, 1927 to Noble and Beatrice (Richardson) Hughes. On August 25, 1951 he was married to Florence Kimball in Onaway. Lloyd was born and raised in Imlay City. He joined the U.S. Army and spent three and a half years in Germany before moving to Rogers City. After a few years, he re-enlisted and went off to the Korean War. After his return, Lloyd joined the Millersburg VFW Post 8751 and the VFW Cooties. Lloyd retired in 1988 from R.E. Glancy where he had worked as a construction foreman. He was an active member of the Community of Christ Church in Onaway and a Camp Counselor at Special Needs Camps.
