Barbara "Lou" Lucile Keesee, age 91 of Onaway, died March 30, 2006 at the Cheboygan Memorial Hospital. Lou was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 14, 1915 to Casimir and Barbara (Lisowski) Szymoniak. She was a life long resident of the Onaway area. In 1975 she retired from Bell Telephone where she worked as a supervisor for 30 years. Lou was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Church Ladies Guild. She loved to read and listen to religious music. Lou will be sadly missed by her sisters, Irene Treadway and Stella Wright both of Onaway; brothers, Richard Szymoniak of Millersburg; Walter Szymoniak of Millersburg; Eddie Szymoniak of Millersburg and Ray Szymoniak of Onaway; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene; and sisters, Agnes and Carrie. |
