Charles "Chuck" David Moore, age 49 a lifelong resident of Onaway, died March 7, 2006 at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. Chuck was born in Whittier, California on July 1, 1956 to Robert and Hilda (Hillis) Moore. On October 3, 1986 he was married to Debra Philpott in Cheboygan. Chuck worked as a boiler operator for Great Lakes Tissue Company in Cheboygan and served in the Army National Guard. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Chuck also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and golfing. He will be sadly missed by his companion of 30 years, Debbie Moore of Muskegon; daughter, Michelle (Adam) Berry of Muskegon; sons, Michael (Jessica) Moore of Onaway and Matthew Moore of Muskegon; and grandchildren, Andrew Berry, Cadence Bredin and Tristin Moore. Chuck will also be missed by his brother, Mark (Mindy) Moore of Onaway; sister, Cheryl Cervenka of Waterford; mother-in-law, Laura Reid of Onaway; niece, Jami Moore of Waterford; niece and nephew, Bradley and Hope of Onaway; and great nieces, Destiny and Kyla of Waterford. He was preceded in death by his parents. |
