Donna Marie Pomranke, age 68 of Ocqueoc, died July 28, 2006 at her home. Donna was born in Ocqueoc Township on November 3, 1937 to Arnold and Marie (Schaedig) Brege. On June 29, 1957 she was married to Marvin Pomranke at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke. Donna was a farmer, homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ocqueoc. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning, deer hunting, watching sports on TV, and especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Donna will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Marvin of Ocqueoc; sons, Mark (Shari) Pomranke of Ocqueoc and David (Debbie) Pomranke of Petoskey; daughters, Connie Pomranke and Debra Pomranke both of Conway; and grandchildren, Brandon and Luke Pomranke of Petoskey and John, Christine, Amanda, Melissa, and Jacob Pomranke of Ocqueoc. She will also be missed by her brother, Donald (Dottie) Brege of Grand Blanc; and sisters, Joanna Leatzow of Northville; Dorothy (Edmund) Schaedig of Cedarville and Diane (John) Krage of Rogers City. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Arnold, Marvin, Leon and Harold Brege. |
