William "Will" Virgil Skuse, age 71 of Saginaw, died December 12, 2006 at the Southport AFC Home. William was born in Petoskey on June 20, 1935 to William and Leila (Dunn) Skuse. William attended the Waverly School in Cheboygan County until the 8th grade when he went to work at his dad's sawmill. He also worked in the woods and did some carpentry work for a few years. In 1956 he moved to Caro and then to Saginaw where he worked at a small factory. William was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and enjoyed country music and working on puzzles. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Betty Jean (Emerson) Penfold of Onaway and Willette (Lealand) Sagle of Manitloulin Island, Canada; brothers, George Skuse of Onaway; Tom (Peggy) Skuse of Onaway and Sidney (Betty) Skuse of East Jordan; and many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his sisters, Lovina and Darine. |
