David "Zeke" Allen Wojtaszek, age 57 of Onaway, died April 28, 2006 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. David was born in Rogers City on July 26, 1948 to George and Helen (Pastalewicz) Wojtaszek. He was a life long resident of Presque Isle County. Zeke was a truck driver for agricultural products and retired in 2001. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and yard work. He also enjoyed reading and listening to his favorite radio show. David will be sadly missed by his sons, Ronald Wojtaszek of Petoskey and Matthew Wojtaszek; daughter, Angela Wojtaszek of Florida; grandchildren; companion, Betty Crites of Onaway; and step-sons, Darrell, Todd, and Calvin Carter. He will also be missed by his brothers, Wallace (Diane) Wojtaszek of Caro; Bernard Wojtaszek of Rogers City; Mick (Diane) Wojtaszek of Clinton Township; Tom Wojtaszek of Tower and Rich (Andrea) Wojtaszek of Lake Orion; sister, Evelyn (Myron) Brege of Grand Lake; good friend, Vicki Abby of Millersburg; caregiver, Cindy Berry of Onaway; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerome; and sister, Bernadine Goodfriend. |
