Paula Lee Dunbar, age 63 of Onaway, died January 19, 2007 at her home. Paula was born in Gorman Lake (Millersburg) on August 9, 1943 to Wilton and Gladys (Sparks) Minier. On July 11, 1980 she was married to John Dunbar in Cheboygan. Paula lived in the Onaway area most of her life and worked at the UAW Family Education Center until her retirement in 1996. She loved family gatherings and also enjoyed gardening, canoeing, and fishing. Paula will be sadly missed by her husband, John of Onaway; sons, Steve (Michelle) Walker of Millersburg, Mark (Carol) Walker of Sydney, Maine and Shawn (Lisa) Walker of Onaway. She'll also be missed by her in-laws, John and Margaret Dunbar of Onaway; step-mother, Delma Minier of Culman County, Alabama; brothers, Rob (Judy) Minier of Davison, Herb (Linda) Minier of Millersburg and Bill (Jobie) Minier of Helena, Montana; sisters, Faye (Darwin) Schultz of Owosso and Wendy (Mark) Kuznicki of Lake Louise; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Brush. |
