Mamie M. Dunn, age 81 of Onaway died February 25, 2007 at Hospice House of Cheboygan. Mamie was born in Muskegon on December 11, 1925 to Ernest and Catherine (DeYoung) Prow. On November 15, 1946 she was married to Arnold Dunn in Onaway. In 1980, Mamie and Arnold returned to their hometown of Onaway after living in Lincoln Park for many years. Mamie was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church and the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed her housework, doing embroidery and ceramics, and solving crossword puzzles. Mamie will be sadly missed by her sisters, Julia LeCureaux of Onaway and Marcella (Lawrence) Lamberson of Onaway; special niece, Judy (Gary) Price of Onaway; special friend/companion, Max Smith of Onaway; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; daughter, Linda Lee Dunn; brother, Art Prow; and sister, Marion Senff. |
