Leo Robert Ellenberger, age 80 of Onaway, died November 10, 2007 at the Alpena Regional Medical Center. Leo was born in Waverly Township to Edward and Delia Flora (Alvord) Ellenberger. He was a lifelong resident of Onaway and retired from Ellenberger Lumber Company in 1989 where he had worked for many years. Leo enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Edward Ellenberger of Alpena and John "Jack" (Ruth) Ellenberger of Onaway; sisters, Virginia Griffin of Cadillac, Maxine Curvin of Rogers City, Sue (Bob) Altman of Midland, and Fay Ellenberger of Alpena; and many nieces and nephews. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ellenberger and Flora Lyon; and brother-in-law, Bud Curvin. |
