Janice "Kay" Florindi, age 61 of Onaway, died June 17, 2007 at Tendercare Health Center of Rogers City. Kay was born in Onaway on August 24, 1945 to Cloid and Ann (Kulavick) Harrison, Sr. On July 20, 1991 she was married to Michael Florindi in Hillman. Kay was a lifelong resident of the Onaway area and worked at the UAW Family Education Center in foodservice for many years and then in laundry until her retirement in 1996. She enjoyed knitting, puzzles and working in her flower gardens. Kay will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Mike of Onaway; son, Don (Theresa) Defeyter of Sheridan, Wyoming; daughter, Vicki (Bob) Younger of Mulberry, Florida; grandchildren, Chelsea, Danielle, Tyler, Bobby and Terri-Anne; brothers, Don Harrison of Harrison and Clarence (Sally) Harrison of Livonia; and sisters, Lillian DeRosia of Cheboygan, Shirley Hardy of Higgins Lake, Ruth (Alan) Price of Onaway and Donnaleen (Butch) Smith of Cheboygan. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arthur, Cloid Jr. and Garry Harrison; and sister, Penny Branscomb. |
