Audrie Eldora Grace, age 80 of Afton, died September 25, 2007 at her home. Audrie was born in Flint on August 1, 1927 to Arthur Karrer and Thelma Quickie. In 1946 she married Wayne Grace in Redford. Audrie wintered in St. Petersburg, Florida, but has spent the summer in Indian River for the last 42 years. She worked as a waitress at Vivio's and the Indian River Golf Course. Audrie loved her cats. She also enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Audrie will be sadly missed by her sons, Steve Grace of Afton, who has provided great love and care during the last 5 years, Alan (Carol) Grace of Traverse City, and Darryl Grace of Afton; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Grace (2003); a sister; and a brother. |
