Joyce (Bunny Lonsdale) Griese, age 71 of Onaway died April 30, 2007 at her home. Joyce was born in Walled Lake on April 12, 1936 to Harry S. and Dorothy (Look) Lonsdale. On December 15, 1973 she was married to Arnie Griese in Saginaw. Joyce has lived in the Onaway area her entire life and worked as an invoice supervisor for J.C. Penny until her retirement in 1979. She also worked part time for many years after her retirement at Tom's IGA in Onaway. Joyce loved fishing, hunting, horses, and children. Her favorite past time was watching her grandchildren play sports. She also loved traveling to Oregon to visit her daughters and go to the ocean. Joyce will be sadly missed by her husband, Arnie of Onaway; daughters, Debbie (Rick) Farley of Oregon, Tammy (Rick) Webb of Oregon and Lynda (Rod) Leach of Onaway; step-daughter, Becky Griese of Saginaw; step-son, Craig Griese of Saginaw; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Pat (William) Morgan of Onaway; and brother, Bob Lonsdale of Onaway. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Shirley Anne McDonald (2000). |
