Loren "Frank" Franklin Huffman, age 64 of Onaway, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Frank was born in Bancroft on May 15, 1943 to Ernest and Regina (Shire) Huffman. On December 11, 1993 he was married to JoAnn Bausack in Burton. Frank returned to his hometown in 1993 after working as a set-up man for General Motors in Flint until his retirement in 1991. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fixing motors, running equipment, going to the casino, traveling and socializing. Frank will be sadly missed by his loving wife, JoAnn of Onaway; daughters, Lori Holmes of Anchorage, Alaska, Susan Huffman of Clio, and Patti Jo (Dave) Ramburg of Gaines; step-daughters, Christine Foster and Denise Rumsey both of Flint; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Shirley) Huffman and Ernie (Jill) Huffman both of Onaway; sisters, Fran (Ron) Stevens, Sally (Roger) Robertson and Rose (Don) Woodcock all of Flint; special friend, Kari (Edward) Wilk of Mason; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Billy Huffman; and faithful dog, Bear. |
