Gail Diane Hyde, age 67 of Onaway died March 29, 2007 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Gail was born in Rogers City on March 3, 1940 to Neil and Elizabeth "Betty" (Mills) Freel. On May 31, 1958 she was married to Claude Hyde at the United Methodist Church in Millersburg. Gail lived in the Onaway area all her life. She worked in food service at the UAW Education Center where she retired from in 1995. Gail was a member of the First Baptist Church in Onaway and enjoyed playing the piano and organ for various churches and activities. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of nearly 49 years, Claude of Onaway; sons, Kevin (Judy) Hyde of Port Huron, Kasey Hyde and Kory (Becky) Hyde both of Onaway; daughters, Kelly Hyde Loewe of Lena, Wisconsin and Kristie (Terry) Hutchinson of Caro; grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, Kourtni, Kody, Ryan and Kaleb; brother, Allan (Darlene) Freel of Alpena; and sisters, Kay (Charles) Rhode of Hawks and Julie (Arnie) Vermilya of Millersburg. Gail was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Dean and Dale Freel. |
