Tiffeny Marie McQuaid LaFave, age 35 of Onaway, died November 10, 2007 at her home. Tiffeny was born in Pontiac on January 18, 1972 to Lyle and Sandra (Haire) McQuaid. In November of 2000 she was married to Gary LaFave in Onaway. Tiffeny lived in Onaway most of her life. She worked as a cashier at the Shell Station in Onaway and Mackinaw City and also at Carter's IGA. Tiffeny was a member of the River of Life Church in Tower, a 1990 graduate of Onaway High School, and was active in 4-H when she was younger. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, flower gardening, reading, and horseback riding. Tiffeny will be sadly missed by her son, Kody McQaid of Onaway; parents, Sandra and Lyle McQaid of Onaway; husband, Gary LaFave of Onaway; brother, William Schumaker of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and sister, Cherr'ie Defoe of Northern New York State. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and sister, Angela Bonham. |
