Virginia Mary Pasella, age 86 of Onaway, formerly of St. Clair Shores, died April 14, 2007 at her home at Hitchcock's A.F.C. in Onaway. Virginia was born in Hopewell, Virginia on April 1, 1921 to Michael and Francesca (Luciano) Pasella. She retired from the Dodge Main Plant in Detroit in 1974, where she worked on the assembly line for more than 30 years. Virginia was a member of the U.A.W. and St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores. She enjoyed cooking, baking and cake decorating, cleaning, painting, and shopping for bargains. She always enjoyed family gatherings and big family dinners. Virginia was also very devoted to her faith. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Mary Pasella of Black Lake; nephews, Mike Pasella of Warren, Mark (Dawn) Pasella of Harrison Township, Matt (Barb) Pasella of Black Lake and Tony (Michelle) Pasella of Clinton Township; nieces, Fran Chagnon, Marlene (Tim) George and Michelle (Tom) Hext all of Black Lake, Rose (Bob) Kiger of Harrison Township and Sarah Jo (Rick) Meech of New Baltimore; and many great nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sestillio "Stiff" and Modesto "Millie" Pasella; and niece, Frances Kohler. |
