Sally Anne Rushton, age 71 of Cheboygan, formerly of Lansing, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at her home. Sally was born in Onaway on
August 19, 1935 to Lancelott and Alice (Gaudette) McGinn. She retired in May after working many years for the Michigan Economic Department of Commerce as an event coordinator. Sally was a member of the Eastern Stars and loved to shop and go to the casino. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Sally will be sadly missed by her daughters, Elizabeth (Rick) Featherstone of Naples, Florida and Val Cota of Roseville, California; son, William Rushton of Santa Monica, California; grandchildren, Kayla Rushton and Kyle Cota; brothers, Ronald (Joyce) and Richard (Diane)McGinn both of Onaway, Rex (Kathy) McGinn of Gladstone and Frank McGinn of Cheboygan; sisters, Sharon Taylor of Onaway and Sandra (Larry) Brown of Vancouver, Washington; special daughter-in-law, Gretchen Rushton of Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert McGinn. |
