Delores Marie Vought, age 78 of Onaway died April 3, 2007 at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital's Larson Hall. Delores was born in Detroit on June 19, 1928 to Alfred and Marie (Van De Walle) Recker. On October 11, 1947 she was married to Frazier "Fritz" G. Vought in Detroit. Delores has lived in the Onaway area since 1970 when she and her family moved from Detroit. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and needlework. Delores also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Glenn Vought of Onaway; Gary (Lisa) Vought of Clinton Township; Gavin (Penny) Vought of Midland and Gordon Vought of Onaway; daughter, Sandy Baxter of Onaway; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frazier "Fritz" Vought (June 30, 2000); and daughter, Sherry Smyth (June 22, 2004) |
