Sandra (Preston) Rigot-Brown, age 46 of Onaway, died October 10, 2008 at her home.
Sandy was born in Onaway on July 26, 1962 to Jerry D. and Lucille (Byrnes) Preston. On June 4, 1982 she was married to Scott Rigot. Sandy was re-married to Dennis Brown on July 27, 1997.
She was a lifelong resident of the Onaway area and worked as a homemaker. Sandy loved taking care of her children and grandchildren, hanging out with friends, and was an avid Harley-Davidson fan.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marcy Rae (Charles Misiak) Rigot of Greenbush and Marla Jean Brown of Onaway; sons, Derik Lane (Deandra) Rigot of Onaway, Michael Joseph (Amanda) Rigot of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Bryan Paul (Wendy) Brown of Onaway; grandchildren, Alexis and Savannah Misiak, Jacob Rigot, Corey, Ethan, Levi (Gus), Dayton, Hunter, Dylan, and Elizabeth; mother, Lucille Zrakovi of Onaway; companion, Calvin R. Garms of Onaway; sisters, Theresa (Bob) Arkwood and Marcy Preston both of Onaway; brother, Thomas Preston of Savannah, Georgia; step-sons, Michael (Alisha) Brown, Ray (Alicia) Stiles, Tom, Tim, and Bob Garms; foster son and family, Jess E., Erica, and Hayden Lyle Preston; and several nephews.
