Alexander "Al" Gerald Burcicki, age 72 of Ocqueoc, formerly of Detroit, died January 8, 2008 at the Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey. Al was born in Detroit on February 22, 1935 to Gerald and Roselyn (Domiter) Burcicki. On February 23, 1957 he was married to Sally Gabrych in Detroit. Alexander had been coming to the area for 30 years and moved here permanently in 2006. He retired from Hoover Tool in Warren where he had worked as a tool and die maker. Al enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, tinkering with projects, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his son, Mike (Patrice) Burcicki of Detroit; daughters, Pamela and Susan Burcicki both of Ocqueoc; 4 grandchildren, Robin, Mark, Nicole, and Carlos Burcicki; mother, Rose Babinski of Plymouth; and sister, JoAnn Rizzo also of Plymouth. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; brother, Norman; and father, Gerald. |
