Willodean M. Garms, age 81 of Millersburg, died August 9, 2008 at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.
Willodean was born in Williamsburg on March 4, 1927 to Lyle Louis and Osa Velma (Worden) Orcutt. On February 26, 1946 she was married to Robert Neil Garms in Millersburg.
Willodean was a lifelong resident of Millersburg and worked as a homemaker and a farmer. She was a member of the Millersburg Methodist Church, Millersburg VFW Women's Auxiliary, Millersburg Ambulance Service 1st Responder, and was a 4-H Leader. Willodean enjoyed crafting and crocheting, farming, hunting, fishing, camping, and square dancing.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sheila (Larry Dittmar) Beam of Millersburg; son, Victor (Sue) Garms of Ocqueoc; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Velma (Orcutt) and Raymond Ashmore of Williamsburg; sister-in-law, Virginia (Garms) and Eugene Plume of Lake Isabella, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Willodean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Garms. |
