Obituaries

Arthur A. Huelsenbeck, age 74 of Ocqueoc, died August 25, 2008 at his home. Arthur was born in Big Flat, Arkansas on September 26, 1933 to
Cirby F. and Donna L. (Davis) Huelsenbeck. On March 3, 1954 he was married to Jean Rounds in Rochester.
For the last three years Arthur has lived in the area, spending the last two years with his daughter and family in Ocqueoc. He moved North from Orion.
In 1995 Arthur retired from the Lake Orion Public School System where he had worked as a custodian for many years. He also was a gospel minister. Arthur's passion was for music. He loved to sing and play the guitar. He also enjoyed fishing. Arthur was an Army veteran, stationed in Germany during the Budapest Uprising.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Joy (Mike) Gunn of Tennessee City, TN, Vickie MacMillan of Jackson, TN, Tammy (Mike) Welch of Ocqueoc, and Alana Huelsenbeck of Rogers City; sons, Richard Huelsenbeck of San Antonio, TX, Daniel "Todd" Huelsenbeck of Clarksville, TN, and Dustin Huelsenbeck of Ocqueoc; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and brother, Frank (Bonnie) Huelsenbeck.
Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Arthur Allen; and sister, Goldie Pauline.
