Herbert William Minier, age 71 of Millersburg, died May 6, 2008 at his home.
Herb was born in Case Township (Millersburg) on December 3, 1936 to Wilton and Gladys (Sparks) Minier. On September 3, 1955 he was married to Linda Mae Funkhouser in Millersburg.
Herb moved back to his hometown of Millersburg in the early 1990's after his retirement from GEAE where he worked as a military operations manager. He was a member of the Onaway Seventh Day Adventist Church and School and was instrumental in reestablishing the school and key in the rebuilding of the church after it burned.
Herb will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Linda Minier of Millersburg; daughter, son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; step-mother,
Delma "Lou" Minier of Alabama; brothers, Rob (Judy) Minier of Davison and Bill (Jobie) Minier of Helena, Montana; and sisters, Faye (Jim) Lenox of Onaway and Wendy (Mark) Kuznicki of Lake Louise.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Brush and Paula Dunbar. |
