Gregory Thomas Porter, age 48 of Onaway, died May 10, 2008 at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.
Greg was born on April 7, 1960 in Cheboygan to Arnold E. and Betty Jean (Bellgraph) Porter.
He was a lifelong resident of the Onaway area and worked as the caretaker of the Indian River Trout Club. Greg was a member of the Michigan Trappers Association. He was an outdoorsman, avid trapper, and hunter and also enjoyed gardening.
Greg will be sadly missed by his sisters, Anne (Wallace) Savenkoff of Cheboygan, Sandra (Robert) Brown of Onaway, and Cynthia (Joe) Pethers of Alanson; brother, Anthony (Tracy) Porter of Ravenna; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Betty Jean; and brother, Douglas Porter. |
