Phyllis E. Bos of Royal Oak Beach (Topinabee), formerly of Lansing, Michigan died on October 26, 2009 at her home on Mullett Lake. Phyllis was born on August 29, 1933 in Lansing, the daughter of Wendell B. and Rosellen (Weir) Blair.
On September 15, 1951 Phyllis married Andrew "Dick" Richard Bos in Lansing. Phyllis and Dick lived in Lansing for many years before moving to their home at Royal Oak Beach on Mullett Lake where they have enjoyed the last sixteen years. Phyllis was a homemaker, but also had a small business of selling her artwork, water colors and oil paintings. She loved traveling and went on many memorable trips with her children and grandchildren. Her other hobbies included reading, painting, and antique shopping. Phyllis was devoted to her Christian faith and was a member of the Indian River Baptist Church and a former member of the South Baptist Church in Lansing.
Surviving Phyllis are her husband of 58 years, Andrew "Dick" Richard Bos; daughters, Denise (Jim) Ackerman of Royal Oak Beach, Susan (Steve) Philip of Bath, MI, Lisa (Kirk) Ballier of Caledonia, MI; son, Andy (Joyce) Bos of Jenison, MI; and brother, Stu (Mary) Blair of Royal Oak Beach. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents and two brothers.
