Helen May Robinson, age 98, of Black Lake (Cheboygan), died on Tuesday December 29, 2009 at Riverview Adult Foster Care Home in Millersburg. Helen was born on April 15, 1911 in Virigina to Winifred and Marjorie (Pelton) Kelly. She was married in 1929 to Willfred "Fred" Mousseau. Helen and Fred had a family of three sons before Fred's death. In 1950 Helen remarried. She and her husband, Wesley Rausch moved permanently to Black Lake, where Helen had visited and vacationed for most of her life, to own and operate vacation rentals. In 1976, after Wesley's death, Helen married Stewart Robinson. Helen enjoyed living at Black Lake, fishing, and boating. She also loved to go dancing and was an avid gardener. Helen was a long time member of the Black Lake Association and also a member of the Onaway United Methodist Church. Surviving Helen are two sons, Wilfred "Royal" and Molly Mousseau of Cheboygan, Robert and Delores Mousseau of Arizona, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Preceding Helen in death are three husbands, Willfred "Fred" Mousseau, Wesley Rausch, and Stewart Robinson; one son, Roamer Mousseau; and two sisters, Gladys LaCrosse and Hattie Hirshberger. |
