James "Jim" Lee Badgero, age 72 of Onaway, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at his home.
Jim was born on March 31, 1937 to William and Ruth (Moore) Badgero in Onaway. He Married Joan F. Porter on February 28, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Onaway.
Jim worked in road construction for many years before becoming the custodial foreman at the Onaway Schools. After retirement from the school, Jim went to work for the CIty of Onaway as a maintenance foreman.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Jim loved spending time at the hunting camp and enjoyed his daily trip to the coffee shop.
He was a member of the Tower Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Onaway.
Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Badgero of Onaway; daughters, Sherry (Tim) Paulus of Onaway, Kayann (Ron) Ozag and Darci (Keith) Balduck both of Macomb Township, and Staci (Chris) Bishop of Comstock Park; son, Jim (Carrie) Badgero of Atlanta;
13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brothers, Ted Badgero of Onaway and Jerry (Joan) Badgero of Rogers City.
