Ralph B. DeRosia, age 68 of Onaway, died March 22, 2009 at his home.
Ralph was born in Ocqueoc Township on November 4, 1940 to R.B. and Delilia (St. Clair) DeRosia. On September 26, 1962 he was married to
Gail M. Nixon in Flint.
Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1958-1961 during the Bay of Pigs Invasion. For 30 years, Ralph worked for General Motors in Flint as a fork truck driver. In 1989, Ralph returned to his hometown of Onaway where he was born and raised. He enjoyed
hunting and fishing.
Ralph will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Gail M. DeRosia of Onaway; sons, Raphael (Lorie) and Daryl (Melissa) DeRosia both of Mt. Morris; daughter, Dawn (Brad) Kirk of Port Clinton, Ohio; 9 grandchildren;
2 great grandchildren; brothers, Alfred (Betty) DeRosia of Iowa and Richard (June) DeRosia of Onaway; sisters, Betty (Willard) Gillespie of Vassar and Helen DeRosia of Onaway; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Bertha DeRosia; and sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Frank Barnby. |
