Sandra "Sandi" Jean Freimark, age 61 of Canada Creek Ranch, died February 11, 2009 at her home.
Sandi was born in Wyandotte on June 25, 1947 to Robert I. and Carolyn Jean (Broughton) Warner. On July 3, 1965 she was married to Kenneth Freimark at St. John's Lutheran Church in New Boston.
Sandi and Ken have lived at Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta for the last 12 years. In 1998, they moved north from Carleton. Sandi was an active member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Onaway and before moving to the Ranch was active with St. John's Lutheran Church in New Boston. Sandi was a security guard for Pinkerton Security at the International terminal of the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. She also worked as the assistant
manager for SKW.
Sandi enjoyed bowling, quilting, and gardening. She was fond of the great outdoors and the family dog, Hunter. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed doting on her family and spending time with them.
Sandi will be sadly missed by her husband of 43 years, Ken of Canada Creek Ranch; daughters, Dawnette Krzeminski of Canada Creek Ranch and Tina (Andrew) Eberhardt of Flat Rock; son, Kenneth (Tina) Freimark, Jr. of West Branch; 9 very special grandchildren; mother, Carolyn (Al) Kovolski of Ludington; brothers, Mike (Bonnie) Warner and Tom (Martha Sturhn) Warner both of Monroe, Dennis (Linda) Warner of Temperance, Chris (Robin) Kovolski of Taylor, Andy Kovolski of Gaylord, and Paul (Pam) Kovolski of Ludington; and sisters, Jan (Glen) Podhola of Monroe, Debbie (Ewalt) Schultz of New Hudson, and Cindy Haveman and Leslie Rish both of Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Robert and Doris Warner; and brother, Dan Haveman. |
