Alice E. Getzmeyer, age 58 of Onaway, died April 3, 2009 at
Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.
Alice was born in Cheboygan on January 24, 1951 to Thomas "Archie" and Helen D. (Dunham) Getzmeyer. She was a lifelong resident of the Onaway area and a member of the United Methodist Church in Onaway and the Smiling Circle Club in Allis Township.
Alice loved her dogs. She enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles and doing word finds. She also liked to watch T.V. and football, especially when her Miami Dolphins were playing.
Alice will be sadly missed by her sisters, Nancy Balch of Brighton and Mary (Jimmy Zofchak) Getzmeyer of Onaway; brothers, Tom (Linda) Getzmeyer of Lansing and Ted (Bev) Getzmeyer of Rogers City; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts and uncles. |
