Kay A. Huffman, age 70 of Onaway, died June 1, 2009 at her home.
Kay was born in Flint on March 29, 1939 to Fredrick and Kathryn (Poole) Evans. On July 23, 1974 she was married to Lane Huffman in Flint.
Kay worked as a sales manager and retired in 1985. In 1989, she and her husband moved to Onaway from Flint.
Kay enjoyed reading, gardening, doing yard work, and mowing the lawn.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Lane H. Huffman of Onaway; daughter, Cynthia Pinkston of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-son, Troy (Kim) Huffman of Flint; step-daughter, Tammie (Tim) Ashbury of Burton; grandson, Jesse Douglas of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Troy, Jr., Angela, and Jonathan Huffman all of Flint; great grandson, Carter Gage Huffman of Flint; and sisters, Lucy Hawkins of Cheboygan and Kate Wade of Ed More.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gregg Pinkston;
and sister, Fran Wicker. |
