Lonie A. Huffman, age 46 of Onaway, died June 7, 2009 at home after losing his battle with cancer.
Lonie was born in Detroit on April 23, 1963 to Stanley and Lucille (Major) Huffman. He moved to Onaway with his parents from Madison Heights in 1995. Lonie loved watching sports, collecting baseball cards, fishing, and going for walks. He was well liked by everyone who met him. Lonie will be missed by all who knew him, especially his niece and nephew, Massie and Stanley Huffman, with whom he lived and spent so much time.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, Stanley and Lucille Huffman of Onaway; brother, Paul (Lisa) Huffman of Beulah; sister, Paula (Don) Morrison of Madison Heights; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Lonie was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister,
