Willabelle M. Clark-Meyer, age 95 of Canada Creek Ranch, died
February 7, 2009 at the Medilodge of Hillman.
Willabelle was born in Pontiac on August 25, 1913 to John E. and Myrtle A. (Walker) Stevens. On March 31, 1934 she was married to her first husband, Charles Merritt Clark. On October 16, 1999 she married Robert Meyer.
Willabelle moved to Canada Creek Ranch from Waterford in 1972 after her retirement from Smith Beverage Company were she worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Eastern Stars of Atlanta, the Farm Bureau and the Canada Creek Ranch Ladies Auxiliary. Willabelle also also attended the Onaway United Methodist Church. She was a very loving Mother and Grandmother. Willabelle loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, canning and made great pies and bread. Willabelle also loved living on the Ranch.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert of Canada Creek Ranch; daughters, Carol (Roger) Drouin of Canada Creek Ranch and Charlene Gallardo of Waterford; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Willabelle was preceded in death by her first husband, C. Merritt Clark (February 19, 1993); son-in-law, John Gallardo; 2 sisters; and a brother. |
