Dennis M. Mishler, age 63 of Rogers City, formerly of Onaway, died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at his home.
Dennis was born in Laingsburg on May 21, 1946 to Forrest and
Matilda (Wolgast) Mishler.
Years ago, Dennis worked as a dishwasher and cook at the Onaway A & W Drive Inn. He also worked in Onaway at Jeffrey's Hardware Store and in Rogers City on Wenzel's Farm and at the County Post Store.
Dennis loved goifor rides to look for deer and loved watching deer at
the Wenzel Farm. He also liked fishing and was a very proud
Special Olympics athlete.
Dennis will be sadly missed by his mother, Matilda Mishler of Rogers City; brothers, Stanley (Jeanette) Mishler of Macomb and Allen Mishler of Onaway; sister, Sandra (Robert) VerDuin of Grand Haven; and several nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Mishler.
