Bonnie J. Auger, age 63, of Black Lake, life long resident of Onaway, died Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Petoskey on September 29, 1946, the daughter of Eugene and Nora (Buck) Skuse. On October 2, 1965 Bonnie married Allen Auger in Onaway. She was a homemaker and worked for Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey as a nurse's aide.
Bonnie was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Onaway. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and canning.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Allen Auger of Black Lake; three sons, Robert and Jackie Auger of Gaylord, Matthew and Sheila Auger of Montana, and Rick Auger of Black Lake; two daughters, Lisa and Doug Bedell and Kim and Jay Wholaver, both of Black Lake; grandsons, Devin, Darrin, Tyler, and Trevor and a granddaughter, Kelsey. Also surviving is Bonnie's mother, Nora Skuse of Lake Wales, FL and sister, Ruth Ann and Jerry Ruppert, also of Lake Wales, FL.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her father, a sister, Gaileen Skuse, and an infant brother, David. |
