On January 18, 2008, Landon Charles Horn died at the Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Landon was six weeks old. He was born in Petoskey, MI on December 4, 2007 to Daniel R. and Miranda S. Horn.
Landon is survived by his twin sister, Meredith; his big brother, Cameron; and his parents, Dan and Mindy, all of Onaway. Also surviving are Landon’s Grandmothers, Carolyn Robbins of Onaway and Jonelle Horn of New Orleans; Great Grandmother, Barbara Robbins of Black Lake; Great Grandparents, Wilma and Willard Maples of Alabama; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding Landon in death are his Grandfather, Don Maples and Great Grandfather, Glenn Charles Robbins.
A private family service was held at the Chagnon Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Pastor Peter Bartlett officiated. Interment will be at the North Allis Township Cemetery in Onaway. Landon’s parents have suggested that donations in his memory be made to the Congenital Heart Information Network, C/O the Chagnon Funeral Home. |
