Leona "Onie" Warner, age 94, a lifelong resident of Millersburg, died September 2, 2008 at her home.
Onie was born in Case Township on April 23, 1914 to William and Marion (Peacock) Arkwood. On April 7, 1938 she was married to Louis H. Warner in Wheeler. Onie was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and cooking. She was known for the beautiful quilts she made.
Onie will be sadly missed by her sisters, Esther Parker of Millersburg, Alice Ganske of Rogers City, and Erma (Bob) Crooks of San Antonio, TX; brother, Robert (Barbara) Arkwood of Milelrsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis (1999); son, Randy Owen Warner (1948); sisters, Viola MacDermott, Stella Merritt, and Blanche Smith; brothers, Roy, Royal "Milo", and Wayne Arkwood. |
