Obituary for Linda Kay Frasier

Linda Kay Frasier, age 60, of Onaway, died peacefully on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Evergreen Adult Foster Care Home in Rogers City. The daughter of Robert N. and Carol (McMichael) Frasier, Linda was born in Leesville, Louisiana on March 5, 1958. She moved from Clarkston to Onaway with parents in 1988 and began working at Nemroc. She loved going to work, her co-workers, and her supervisors. Linda attended the United Methodist Church in Onaway.

Linda loved to color pictures and was always delighted to receive new crayons and coloring books for her birthday and Christmas. She also enjoyed bowling, swimming, and playing Bingo at the Onaway Senior Center. One of her favorite outings was going to McDonald’s for a cheeseburger, fries, and a Diet Coke. She always looked forward to the Special Olympics where she competed in Track and Field events. Whether she was doing her chores or holding hands with a friend while quietly watching television, she was very happy and well-loved at Evergreen Adult Foster Care. Affectionate and always cheerful, Linda gave so much love to those around her and could brighten the darkest day with her wonderful smile. With her sweet innocence and genuine, unconditional love she touched the hearts of everyone she knew.

Linda is survived by her parents, Bob and Bonnie Frasier of Onaway; mother, Carol Hall of Flint; sisters, Patty Zoll of Onaway, Debbie Richmond of Flint, and Terrie (Ed) Pringle of Burton; brothers, Paul (Sherry) Frasier of Tennessee, Jeff Hall of Flint, and Don Huemiller of Sonoma, California; numerous nieces and nephews as well as her family at Evergreen Adult Foster Care Home.

Visitation will be on Saturday February 9, 2019 from 2 pm until the time of the funeral at 4 pm. Pastor James Brabson will officiate. Linda’s final resting place will be in Tower at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy please consider a donation in memory of Linda to the Special Olympics of Michigan, Area 3, CMU, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48859.
